FMI Show at McCormick Place, Chicago, May 4-6
AW-3600AT highlighting proven superior performance
NBI participated in FMI Show and exhibited a full range of DIGI retail products starting with the simple DS-788 price computing scales, through the full range of SM-500 models and the AW-3600 Super Stretch wrapper.
As always a lot of interest was shown in the AW-3600 Super Stretch wrapper. The small size and big performance of this machine always generates good comments. At the show we featured independent tests which prove that DIGI Super Stretch wrapper uses less film, produces more packs and wraps faster then the competitive models.
Of equal interest was the all new DIGI "Plug & Weigh" software. This new software developed by NBI and R&D team of Teraoka Singapore automates connection to instore networks, simplifies data maintenance and has the potential to revolutionize the way scales are maintained.
This concept truly merges the scale and the company network into a seemless system.

Samurai Salesman Award Each year NBI presents an award to the organization or person that has contributed above and beyond to sales success.
This award, a set of Japanese swords, is the "Samurai Salesman" award. This year it was presented to Mike Schaefer Vice President of NBI. He won this award due to his dedication and success in selling major accounts. Mike has had account responsibility for all 6 Ahold USA operating companies, Albertson's and Kroger. During this year alone we have closed orders for over 4000 units to these accounts. Mike has also worked tiredlessly to follow up on all aspects of customer service and support required to keep these customers coming back to DIGI. Congratulations Mike on this award and thanks for the continued hard work and effort.
