On February 27th, DIGISystem A/S celebrated
Klaus Pedersen's 25 years of service to DIGI in Denmark. Klaus started as an electronic engineer in 1978 and took care of all of the electronic service.
After a few years, he began selling scales, had great success in 1985 with the SM-60 and DPS-6000, and became the Sales Manager.
By 1988, the growth of sales made it necessary to set up a company to take care of all Teraoka/DIGI activities, DIGISystem A/S.
Over the past 15 years, Klaus has helped DIGI become the market leader for SM scales, DPS scales and AW-FX Wrappers! DIGI scales are in all COOP stores, many supermarket chains, private supermarkets and butcher shops. Klaus is the Director for DIGISystem A/S and for the label company they took over in 1999, which are together in a new building as of January with 1800 m2. Klaus remarks, " I have had a fantastic time with Teraoka staff and DIGI family members over the last 25 years and have always been very proud to be a part of that team and proud to introduce the absolute best leading scale and wrapper products in the world for butcher shops and supermarkets. "
DIGI-System A/S and its label company moved to the new office at the same location on January 6th.

New location of Marketing HQ office of Shanghai Teraoka Electronic Co., Ltd.
The marketing head office moved to Huai Hai Zhong Road, one of two major shopping streets in Shanghai last November. Overseas and Domestic Marketing divisions, R&D, Technical Support and Global Sourcing Department are now located in one office with total 700 m2. This has improved the communications among each department and enhanced efficiency of the operations.
