Editor's Note
The year 2004, it is really a very exciting year with memorable events worldwide and at DIGI.
ATHENS 2004 Olympic Games returned to its roots after the Games traveled to countries around the world since the first Modern Olympic Games were held in the country of their birth in 1896. The opening ceremony was very glorious with the historical monuments in High- Tech. Here in Japan, everyone enjoyed the great and so exciting events while we suffered from the lack of sleep. I am so encouraged with by Japanese female athletes' toughness and their performance. They brought us the gold medals in Judo, wrestling and the marathon.
Back to the DIGI News Bulletin, I am so happy to publish No. 50 on the year of the 70th Anniversary of Teraoka/DIGI. In this issue, the news from Malta, Morocco and Ecuador made their debut. And a DIGI family member from Bulgaria, who recently launched DIGI, is introduced along with the 30 year partnership of NBI and Wedderburn Scales.
On the next issue No. 51, I will report DIGI World Meeting 2004 which will be held in Singapore on September 30 and October 1 with 150 participants, including Teraoka/DIGI group from over 50 nations, under the theme "70 years weigh to success".
I am looking forward to receiving your news worldwide for the first of another 50 issues.
