Equipmag is the exhibition for the shop fitting equipment and technology held biennially at the Paris Expo.
DIGI France S.A., on September 13 to 16, showed new DIGI products and highlighted that DIGI is always ahead on innovations.
At this show in the wrappers division, DIGI France presented the AW-3600AT with 4 extra labellers.
This was well accepted by System U and also received much attention from other customers.
The SM-700 and the SM-800 with the transparent display was well received from lots of customers. It was far beyond our expectations. Furthermore, the SM-800's innovative "Hi-Touch" feature was very well accepted by customers. Some customers who are not fully ready with their back office for traceability did show interest.
Also other customers saw this system as a way to eliminate mistakes for traceability which they have to watch carefully.
The full line of DIGI SM series including totally new products were in the center of attention as well as many low end models to present to dealers, which is an area DIGI France wants to expand in coming years.

POLAGRA 2004, International Trade Fair for the Food Industry took place in Poznan between 21-24 September 2004.
A record number of exhibitors, the magnitude of the fair ground area and the popularity among visitors have all confirmed significance of this fair event in Central and Eastern Europe. During the four days of the fair, which was spread over the area exceeding 24,000 square meters, approximately 40,000 visitors had a chance to learn about the scope of offers presented by nearly 1,100 exhibitors from 31 countries. Every time, Yakudo Plus had presented a wide range of products. At POLAGRA 2004, Yakudo Plus focused on being a total supplier for retailers, presenting a wide range of DIGI products such as scales, printers, platforms, wrappers, automatic label systems, and also exhibiting products from other suppliers such as vacuum packing and thermoforming machines from HFE Vacuum Systems in Holland and Scharfen food slicers. During the exhibition, Yakudo Plus was supported by the guests from Teraoka/DIGI group companies such as Teraoka Singapore, Teraoka Japan, DIGI Europe Ltd. and HFE. Among the products debuted were DIGI SM-710 and SM-800 and HEE thermoforming line.
Compared to previous years, Yakudo has found increasing interest in highly advanced products and in a "total solution" for food industry factories.

This event is held yearly in Singapore, targeting mainly retailers and supermarket operators in Asia & Oceania region. Teraoka Weigh-System Pte. Ltd. (Teraoka Singapore) has received good potential customers across this region and also received good response from customers about our new concepts and SM-700 video displays.
The products we exhibited were SM-710 (modular type) and SM-800 Hi-Touch mounted onto a showcase. We also showed the SM-800EL Display and various SM-500 and SM-700 configurations.
On the opening day, Teraoka Singapore had the honor to receive Singapore's Second Minister of Trade and Industry, Dr. Vivian Balakrisnan at DIGI booth. Akihiko Kuroiwa, Managing Director of Teraoka Singapore honorably presented DIGI latest products and explained DIGI presence in the region.
