Teraoka Japan all together celebrated the 70th Anniversary in Bali

President Kazuharu Teraoka of Teraoka Japan, the executives, the employees and many family members flew to Bali to celebrate the 70th anniversary all together at the Westin Resort Nusa Dua Bali, with over 800 people attending one party. The ceremony and party was held, two times, on October 17th and on November 14th.

President Kazuharu made the speech, in which he at first showed appreciation to Teraoka Japan staff for their contribution for the company's growth, and their family members for their support. In his speech, he traced the history of Teraoka for World-first innovation. That is, electronic price computing scale in 1965, scale printer with thermal printing and word processing technology in 1980, and integrated weigh/wrap/label system in 1981. And he referred to the presence of the Teraoka POS ECR. After the expertise of 20 years, Teraoka POS ECR has earned a high reputation in Japan. In 2004, the customer who is using Teraoka POS ECR Web2100, received the first prize at the competition for operator's service, among operators using other big brands. As a result, Teraoka Japan is now well known as a total supplier for equipment and system to retailers in Japan. The latest POS ECR product - WebRise was awarded the Good Design Award 2004, which is highly evaluated as an industry design award in Japan.
He proudly said, "That is the result of our achievement for 70 years."
He showed his appreciation again to all of the participants and asked to work together toward the future growth for the next generation. At last, he referred to the message of the late Chairman Takeharu Teraoka, "Gratitude! We can do it and we will do it! We will develop products to meet the requirement of customers." President Teraoka concluded his speech to keep the late chairman's message in our mind, along with our memory in Bali.
