Asia Retail Show in Beijing

Asia Retail Show was held at China International Exhibition Center in Beijing on September 8 to 10, under the theme "Innovation and Cooperation". The exhibition was held with 1,700 exhibition booths on 35,000 square meters.
Most global retailers and suppliers participated in this exhibition. Among them, Carrefour, Wal-mart, Tesco, 7-11, and from Japan, Ito Yokado and Jusco, and others. On the other hand, leaders of retailer associations from 16 Asia-Pacific countries and regions, were invited together with well-known retailer associations all over the world. Special representatives attending this convention and exhibition numbered over 3,000. It was with great pleasure that Shanghai Teraoka Electronic Co., Ltd. presented the DIGI product line as a global operation brand and total retail supplier, opening the way for opportunity there.
Shanghai Teraoka demonstrated DIGI's POS ECR line and Automatic Wrapper and new scale products. The transparent display of the SM-880EV EL received much attention from retailers. POS ECR which has No. 2 market share under the domestic brand name TERAOKA in Japan, also received much attention, especially for the two-operator operation system, which is popular and a traditional style in Japanese supermarkets. DIGI's integrated fully automatic weigh/wrap/label system received many inquiries from food processing centers and the new Service Scale Printer SM-100+ was the center of attention.

The INDOMAF 2005, one of the biggest exhibitions in Indonesia to showcase the latest technology in machinery, had many participants from countries in Asia as far as Japan and India. This year was the 2nd year that DIGI Indonesia Nusantara had participated. DIGI Indonesia was able to showcase in the 6 * 9m booth a wide range of industrial scale products ranging from platform scales, counting scales, barcode printers and the latest indicators powered by ID Manager developed by Teraoka Weigh-System Pte. Ltd. in Singapore. The weigh-bridge/truck scales powered by DI80 indicator with newly improved database-driven software received much attention as well.
Among the products debuted were the counting scale DC-300 with Ethernet connection and ID Manager, which drew special interest from food processing plant customers. Wiwie Palimarmo, Director of DIGI Indonesia Nusantara commented, "Through this exhibition, we have successfully completed some good sales transactions and also managed to gather many sales leads. Datecs Ukraine took part in the food industry targeted exhibition "Inprodmash and Upakovka 2005" which was held 12-14 September in Kiev, Ukraine.
Datecs Ukraine has strived to satisfy customer's needs with innovative industrial inventions and technology such as high-speed weigh/label system HI-700, semiautomatic weigh/wrap/label system FX-3600 XL and new products such as SM-100. Datecs Ukraine has followed their main goal . to establish a partnership with clients and to give them the right solution with high quality DIGI products. Nowadays Ukraine is going through an industrial boom with lots of companies investing money into the processing market. In order to give the best solution, the corner stone of success lies in providing the best quality products as well as technology and service. The exhibition showed Datecs Ukraine to be the company who meets all these constituents and moreover the company who always looks for new ways to improve the loyalty of its customers in food industry markets as well as in retail shops.
Datecs successfully started the food industry part of their marketing plan with success in the Ukraine, and were well received at the exhibition at Inprodmash and Upakovka 2005.

| Yakudo presented DIGI's latest technology at Polagra 2005 |
Yakudo Plus Sp. z o.o. participated in POLAGRA 2005 (September 20 to 23) held in Poznan. This year marked the 10th attendance of Yakudo at the exhibition, the biggest show in Central Europe. In our 100 square meter booth, a wide range of DIGI products were shown.
Among them, the full line of SM series was exhibited; the latest high-end model SM-880EV transparent display type, the SM-800, the SM-700, the SM-100 and the newest SM-100Plus, together with the new concept option and product such as Hi Touch and e-Labels. The new Prepack Scale Printer DPS-4600 also debuted in Poland. At the same time we displayed several industrial DIGI products such as stainless steel floor scales and platforms with Digital Indicators DI-30SS, DI-160, DI-300SS and DI-600SS. Supported by New Vision, DIGI's distributor in Lithuania, we presented their Meat Master system for food factories configured with DIGI DI-762 PC based indicators, DPS-3600 and TVP printers. In addition to New Vision, we were helped by guests from Teraoka Japan, Teraoka Singapore and Teraoka Shanghai. Taking this opportunity, we would like to show our appreciation to those DIGI family members. During the four days of our exhibition, we were visited by several important industrial as well as retail customers, giving us perspectives for sales of new products.
