We offer our condolences to his family, friends and his staff. His integrity, his sense of duty, and his hard work were valued by all who knew him, as were his humanity and his friendship. Ever since Teraoka Seiko started doing business with Marsden in 1979, Marsden has succeeded in making sales breakthroughs for DIGI products in the UK under the leadership of Mr. John Tooher. We shall always remember him with gratitude and affection. Editor's Note   On the issue, I feature Taka's full retirement from Teraoka/DIGI with the close of 2007.   I vividly remember the day when I joined the overseas marketing section from the domestic sales section, almost twenty four years ago, when Taka Hattori managed the section. Since then, I have learned lots from him. Among the things that I feel are important include "honesty" and "family" atmosphere in business field. Each DIGI family member that has been in contact with Taka has felt his honesty and warmth, just like a family. Even in the tough business negotiations between Teraoka/DIGI and DIGI distributors, his style has shown to DIGI customers.   He has worked together with DIGI distributors and customers for mutual business expansion, always looking for the "win-win" not a onesided only benefit. I think that is the reason Taka is called the "God Father" of the DIGI family and is loved by DIGI customers. Taking this opportunity, I would like to show my sincere appreciation to Taka who has supported the publications of DIGI News Bulletin as the "final eyes" after his semi-retirement. (Yoshiko)
