RM-5800 POS scale selected by a Croatian poultry company for their shops' operation

Our loyal customer, “Blagus d.o.o.” installed the DIGI new model of RM-5800 POS scale in its shops throughout the country. Blagus is a private Croatian poultry company that has a slaughter house, butchery and 14 butcher shops throughout Croatia where their products – fresh chickens are marketed with a local brand name “MEDJIMURSKI PICEK”.
Blagus had installed DIGI scales SM-300 and SM-500 connected through Ethernet in the Head office with ISDN, and they was satisfied with the performance. With their operation expanded, they needed fast communication and regular transmission of data to the Head Office PC.
The model RM-5800 was the right solution for Blagus to upgrade their current system, increase flexibility in transmission of data from the shop to the Head office, and enhance the security of data.
In May 2011, the first RM-5800 was installed in their butcher shop. After the installation, DIGI R&D engineers and Server Mark engineers have been working hard to customize the POS application according to Croatian regulations. We have done it successfully! On the other hand, RM-5800 hardware was evaluated well by Blagus. Now the RM-5800 are in operation at their four shops. We have a plan to replace the current SM series with RM-5800 in all their shops and to install their new shops opened in near future.
Server Mark is trying to provide a new solution to our other customers with POS scale . For this purpose, we work together with software houses to install their own POS applications to the hardware. We are confident that this move will change the operation at the sales counters of retailers in Croatia.
