The model RM-5800 and RM-5800II have been evaluated highly by Chinese retailers. Shanghai Teraoka Electronic Co., Ltd. (STE) is now marketing the high-end POS scale with around 500 units per month in China. The first shop opened in 1999 in Shanghai, and now a total of 1000 shops are in operation. The shop name Lyfen started in 2002 when the parentcompany, Shanghai Aiwu Food Co., Ltd. was established. Since then, the shops have opened using the name Lyfen, operated by Shanghai Laiyifen Co Ltd, a group company of Shanghai Aiwu Food Co., Ltd. Currently a total of 2700 shops have the brand “Lyfen” nationwide in China, mainly in Shanghai, Beijing, Tianjin, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shandong, Hubei, Hunan and Sichuan.

The first installation of The RM-5800II PLUS was started at a Lyfen shop in Shanghai on July 30, 2011. The installations continued and a total of 3600 units of the RM-5800II PLUS’s will be operating in all of Lyfen shops in 2012.

This is a historical sales breakthrough of a bulk order of units and shops with the RM-5800II that was developed based on the customer-oriented needs.
