Solution selling - the SM-5500 is actually the “super sales person” that progressive butchers needed

Martakis Meat Market installed the first four units of SM-5500P PLUS, and continued the installation. The Multimedia display helps boost sales and give messages to customers.

Greece is suffering a very serious and deep economic crisis. As a result, our traditional main customers, the Key S/M Accounts have frozen their expansion or renovation plans.

But crisis can also create new opportunities.

We realized that progressive butchers are always open to new ideas and solutions that could improve the attractiveness of their stores and bring in more customers.

We saw that the SM-5500 range of scales, although more expensive than the usual printer scales, are excellent marketing tools providing new ideas and means of communicating with the customers, therefore, they boost sales. They are actually the “super sales person” that our customers needed.

We participated in a local fair for meat and related equipment called “Meat days 2012” at the end of September, where we presented the full features and potential of the SM-5500 series, including the Multimedia display, recipes, coupons, e.Labels and Queuing system, with spectacular results.

Mr. Ioakimides, the owner of Porky, which is one of the biggest and oldest meat shops in Athens is confident that his happy customers will be even happier with the upgraded service prompted by the installation of the SM-5500P PLUS’s.

Soon after the fair we installed the first four units of SM-5500 PLUS with optional receipt printers at the “Martakis Meat Market”. Mr. Martakis said, “I am impressed! The second installation was at the brand new “ARKADES” butcher store, in mid-October. The owner Mr. Repas, a young and progressive person said, “The DIGI complete solution was exactly what I needed. At the end of October we installed seven units of SM-5500PLUS at one of the biggest and oldest meat stores in Athens, “Porky”. The owner, Mr. Ioakimides is happy with his investment in the new scales. Through November 1st we have firm orders for three more stores and advanced negotiations for several more!
