In this store, DAO installed the All-in-One Bulk System—a unique station that lets customers easily use their own containers. This reduces single-use packaging and, most importantly, encourages more sustainable shopping habits.
DIGI’s contribution with this solution is clear: less plastic waste and ease of use thanks to the 15’’ display, which ensures high readability during purchases. Customers can easily track weights and prices in real time while dispensing products.
Smart Weighing & Improved Customer Experience
Sustainability and customer focus extend to the shopping experience. That’s why this store features the SM-6000 AI self-service scale, equipped with a camera and AI to recognize products in under 3 seconds, displaying only the best-matched items to customers to complete the weighing process.
Thanks to this solution, wait times at these stations are greatly reduced, making it easy for elderly customers to use and creating a truly innovative shopping experience.
Linerless: The Universal Labelling Solution
All devices support DIGI’s state-of-the-art Linerless labelling solution, which features an automatic cutter that produces flexible custom-sized labels based on the weighed item’s content.
All DIGI devices are equipped with 300dpi printers, delivering high-resolution labels that clearly present all essential purchase information for maximum customer clarity and transparency.
Furthermore, the same linerless label roll is used across all label formats for both scales and wrapping machines, and it doesn’t require any anti-adhesive backing paper. This results in significant savings in paper consumption, as well as economic benefits due to streamlined inventory and reduced material waste.
