Is it safe to apply ozone water directly to food?: Ozone water is safe to apply directly to food.; Ozone water can be applied directly to food. Ozone is already approved as a food additive in countries such as the U.S. and Japan. Since ozone rapidly reverts to oxygen, it is not present when food is consumed.
Nor does food need to be rinsed with tap water or the like after being treated with ozone water.

I've heard that ozone water causes rust, is that true?: The low concentration ozone water produced by these devices has no effect on ordinary kitchen utensils.; The effect of ozone water on metal depends on the concentration.
At the concentrations produced by these devices (a maximum of 0.8 mg/liter), there is no effect on ordinary kitchen utensils, so ozone water can be used in place of ordinary tap water.

How does ozone water affect the body?: Based on a variety of contact tests, there is no detectable effect.; Testing at the cellular level has been done in a number of scenarios, including accidental use of ozone water to drink, gargle, wash wounds, and wash hands, and no problem has been detected. However, ozone water is not drinking water, and it should not be used as drinking water or for gargling.

Can ozone water be safely mixed with detergent?: The amount of toxic gasses produced during reaction testing are less than reference levels.; Tests conducted indicate that there is no problem with production of toxic gasses by mixing ozone water with the detergents ordinarily used in kitchens. You can use ozone water as a substitute for tap water.

Can water from wells and aquifiers be used as a water source?: No. These devices can only be used with tap water.

What precautions should be observed when using ozone water to sanitize or resuscitate vegetables?: Showering should be used with leafy vegetables, while root vegetables should be immersed in running ozone water.; The cells of leafy vegetables are not strong, so shower them lightly with ozone water. The cells of root vegetables are tougher, so they should be left in running ozone water at the bottom of the sink for a certain amount of time. It is not necessary to rinse with tap water following treatment with ozone water.

What are the advantages of fumigating with ozone gas?: Ozone gas fumigation disinfects an entire space, including places you can't reach with your hands. It can also protect against secondary contamination by airborne microorganisms.; You can apply treatment three dimensionally, reaching locations that are ordinarily inaccessible by hand, such as the back sides of kitchen appliances and wall surfaces.
Since there is no need to wipe away residue after treatment, you can easily sterilize/deodorize at night.
Also effective for preventing contamination of cooking utensils by airborne microorganisms.

What kind of environmental impact comes with strengthened sanitation?: Since ozone reverts to oxygen upon reaction, this easy means of improving sanitation has no environmental impact.; Ozone is created out of oxygen in the air, and it then reverts to oxygen after reaction, so it has no environmental impact.
Ozone water can be used in the same manner as tap water, making it easy to achieve sanitation naturally.
At night, spaces can be automatically fumigated with ozone gas by timer. This makes improved sanitation possible without increasing workload.
